Turn My Swag On!!!
Okay humans!! I'm back and bigger than ever!! So I've taken a likkle hiatus to get myself together, and to really become more tech savvy. Considering I just learned how to text like yesterday, blogging is a huge advancement for me!!! I have so much to talk about because so much has been happening with me! So where do I begin???

So depending on how you know me, and whether you know me at all, you may have been exposed to different facets of my creative personality. Some of you know me as the dancer who goes hard ALL the time. Some of you may know me as the fashion glamazon. And if you're in my close circle, then you've definitely heard me freestyling to every song that plays on the radio. Well, it's time for the madness to end!!!

All of my life I've felt creatively torn. When I was younger, all I wanted to do was act. I loved to perform in front of an audience and bare my soul to the world. When I got to High School, I was a big time gangsta rapper LOL! Imagine that. In college, it was all about the dance. I would dance anywhere to anything for anybody. Then for the last 2 or 3 years, I have been a fashion addict. Don't get me wrong, I have always been in bed with them all ( yes, what a little slut I am...lol), but there was always one main attraction at any given moment. For a long time, there has been this internal struggle and finally I found a way to sleep with Acting, Dancing, Performing, and Fashion all at the same time!!! I love an orgy just as much as the next person, so you can imagine my excitement when I figured out a perfect way to blend them all together.

Now, I'm not going to give away too much just yet, but most of you probably heard about the music video that I have been filming all weekend. That's a huge hint!! So I have three questions for you:

1) Can you guess what I'll be doing?
2) Who's style can you compare it to if you had to?
and 3)For those of you who know me, is it really that surprising?

I'm excited to hear just how crazy you all think I really am!!!

Get back to me!!

Ciao!

~OVERFAB~
Over and OutOverfabhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07644048642648262928noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-71598096146907723122008-06-29T21:34:00.000-07:002008-06-29T21:55:50.639-07:00It's About Damn Time!Hey guys!

So I have finally joined the blogging community and I'm actually quite excited about it. Considering I just learned what a blog was like yesterday, you should all be surprised to see me posting away! And who am I, you ask??

My name is Kerry Coddett, but you can call me "Overfab". I am the head designer and owner of Save Your Vanity, an up and coming premium streetwear brand. Save Your Vanity has been seen on rappers Fabolous and Jay-Z, as well as your local celebrities. Aside from being one of the hottest clothing lines that you've ever seen, Save Your Vanity is also a lifestyle. It's all about preserving your sexy and basking in your own fabulosity; it's about being grandiose in everything that you do; it's about taking luxury to the nth degree and realizing that modesty is for the peasants. You're fly, you're hot, you're fabulously fierce and everyone is talking about you...so why can't you talk about yourself, too?

This is not just another fashion blog, but I'm sure you can already tell. I'm going to let you guys know all of the do's and don'ts, the when's and the where's, what's hot and what's not. Feel free to add comments...I love open discourse.

In the meantime...get ready for the time of your lives!

~Overfab~
Over and OutOverfabhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07644048642648262928noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-37478984220317149582008-06-25T13:57:00.001-07:002009-06-25T14:00:27.542-07:00To ConnectSave Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-54407996821032125002008-06-25T13:57:00.000-07:002009-06-25T14:52:53.536-07:00The BrandOkay, so what's the deal with this Overfab chick? Is she a writer, a dancer, a stylist, a designer, a rapper, a comedienne, or an actress? Well, she's all of that, and so much more.
Overfab is a brand. Everything she touches turns to gold and her passion and dedication is unwavering. Overfab always does whatever she wants to do and makes no apologies for her boldness. She is always saving her vanity. Modesty is overrated!

Here's a sneak peek at the Overfab experience :

www.youtube.com/overfabSave Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-4492527236133258472008-06-25T13:56:00.001-07:002009-06-25T15:02:18.802-07:00The ChoreographerOverfab began dancing professionally when she was 9 years old, performing alongside the New Jersey Nets. She has since flourished into an amazing Hip Hop/ Dancehall choreographer, who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.
She has worked with Thanisha Scott, who is most known for her choreography for Beyonce and Sean Paul. Overfab has also danced and choreographed for dancehall sensation Mr. Vegas and Soca artist Machel Montano. She has also choreographed for award winning dance group Xfactor, and is immensely popular in New York City for her Hip Hop and Dancehall dance workshops.

She is also starring and producing an all new dance show, slated to sue next month.Save Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-46827465014201825642008-06-25T13:56:00.000-07:002009-06-25T14:48:02.627-07:00The StylistOverfab is an amazing wardrobe stylist, whose clients vary from actresses and musicians to housewives and Wall Street executives. Her style and panache make her the perfect "go-to" girl when you need assistance finding the right number for an event.Save Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-15922509162528369492008-06-25T13:55:00.000-07:002009-06-25T15:19:41.943-07:00The DesignerUpon first glance, you might mistake her for the average fashionista-all frills and feathers, with no substance. She opens her mouth and immediately proves you wrong. She is very well spoken and has the IQ of a genius. What's beauty with no brains? She also has more personality in her pinky toe than most people have altogether, with a strong presence and a not so quiet confidence.

Overfab is a "character" in every sense of the word. At any given moment, she may have a British accent; two seconds later she sounds like an authentic Jamaican. One minute she's talking to you about YSL's new collection, the next she bursts into choreography because she cannot sit still while music is playing. One minute she's cracking jokes like Dave Chappelle, two seconds later a Lil Wayne songs plays and she's kicking a hot 16.

You're frustrated because the moment you think you've got her all figured out, she throws you another curve ball. The solution? Stop trying! She cannot be defined. Your best bet? Enjoy the Overfab experience and have fun. Just be happy you can at least figure out how she got her name!Save Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718137658472652321.post-78679689934194473192006-06-25T13:47:00.000-07:002009-06-25T15:06:06.756-07:00The DishTo attempt to sum up Overfab in one page is an exercise in futility. When asking her what she does, it would be far easier for her to list what she doesn't do, as her talents are far too plentiful to enumerate. When you meet her in person, the first thing that you'll probably notice is her impeccable fashion sense. Always decked out in designer labels and brightly colored garments, Overfab takes her appearance very seriously. You will even notice her commanding presence- how the room seems to light up when she walks in; her graceful, powerful, confident walk. Her swagger and demeanor screams "I'm a star!", even if no one has any idea who she is.Save Your Vanityhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04840472595587561129noreply@blogger.com
